Slaf Proudly Releases Book “One Hand, Full Confidence”

MONTREAL — NHL forward Slaf proudly announced Tuesday the release of his first book, One Hand, Full Confidence, a 412-page self-help guide explaining how a young player can build a promising NHL career while stubbornly refusing to use both hands, even when the puck, his coach, and basic physics strongly recommend it.

“For years, people said I was nonchalant,” Slaf writes in the opening chapter. “But I prefer to think I was conserving greatness.” The Canadiens reportedly ordered 10,000 copies for the locker room, placing them beside a whiteboard where Martin St-Louis had written: “TWO HANDS. MAYBE JUST TRY IT ONCE.”
